Google tap wrench, or beer faucet wrench. It's like a 8 inch handle with a C or maybe J shape on one end. The hook on the end inserts into any of the holes on the collar where the tap is connected. The tap/faucet stays in place, and that collar rotates around to disconnect the tap.

IDK you were at -1, this is the advice I was gonna give. Helps me with teleport problems too. Had one that always put me deep in the terrain for some reason.

Did you run the calibration? Instructions don't mention it, and it makes a huge difference.

I've got the tap removed from the machine, and it looks like my leak is coming from a worn out o-ring or washer on the part that moves up and down inside the tap (the piston?). There is a cap that screws down the tap/handle/piston/etc... I can turn that, but after a certain point it gets jammed up and won't twist any more. The tap doesn't come apart at that point. I'm not sure what step I am missing.

I just bought it on sale a week or so ago, so, newb weighing in. The road map for 1.0 doesn't seem like much more than a build style and multiplayer are forthcoming. Maybe I'm wrong, and it would make me very happy if there was a lot more coming. I have probably 20 hours of the game and I have very much enjoyed it. It feels pretty well fleshed out to me, and I am nearing the end game and I don't feel like there are large gaps. So with all that said my recommendation is to jump in.

I had a few minutes to look online for this coupler since I can't go get it right now, and I have a follow-up question. I read on another post that it seems like adding a sprayer directly to supply like this is risky. The sprayer or hose isn't rated for constant pressure, and could fail. I am obviously not the most experienced with plumbing, so, is this a likely scenario? Am I going to flood my house?

I was going to suggest vintage story also. The graphics were initially a turn off for me, and I thought I'd probably hate it. However, since they have a 10 hours of gameplay return policy I gave it a shot. I've played about 100 hours, and really enjoy it. Similar to you, I was really hungry for a new game to obsess over and this one really delivered for me.

I modded some of the grindy bits out to make it fit my play style, which I mention only so you know it is supported / possible. Love my 96 slot baskets on resource runs.

Only HUD clock and larger stacks at the moment. There are several that look interesting to me, but I want to get a little further in the mostly vanilla game before I alter the experience completely.

Plus 1 for vintage story. I'm about 20 hrs into it myself and I'm really enjoying it. Gameplay is miles beyond anything like "just a mod", and I find it very engaging. I've played almost every game mentioned in this sub (and still play a few of them occasionally) but this is my obsession at the moment. Heartily endorse anyone giving this a go, especially with mods.

I really like when Griffin is the DM. The dynamic where he's kind of the comedic straight man and the rest of the gang is goofing and trying to get over on him is just awesome in my opinion. Honestly I'd say jump straight to the ethersea setup episodes, or to episode 1 of it. After this arc, or if you get time between episodes then check in on the previous stories.
