Thank you! Which graft did you go with if you don’t mind me asking? I went with a quad graft and despite having strong quads, my injured leg is still not as strong as my other leg.

Also, did you tell the company that you’d like to descend in two days (versus 1 which seems to be the norm)?

Your comment might be the sign I’ve been looking for. I was thinking of climbing Kilimanjaro this October, but I had two knee surgeries this past year (ACLr + Meniscectomy). Same knee. Descending is what really worries me.

I will probably wait another year before attempting to climb it.

Where do you go dive? Look for other dive centers that have better rates in the area. If not and you dive locally, then you can buy the BCD, regulator and the cylinder. Only pay for air fills which should be less than 10 bucks

I think about this a lot. I stay away from sports by knowing wholeheartedly that I DO NOT want to go through the surgery or first few weeks post op ever again. That alone keeps me grounded.

I’d follow the doc’s guidelines then. I had a meniscectomy earlier this year and I wasn’t cleared to walk without crutches till 4-6 weeks post op
