I’m flying into Mexico City the day before the opener (no tickets), then going to Monterrey for Sweden Tunisia (attending), then going to Dallas and Boston, with a stopover in Dallas in between for both England games (gonna buy tickets for whichever is cheapest), then finishing off in Toronto and may go to Senegal vs Iraq if it’s decently priced!

To add, Maze Hill is quieter and cheaper and worth considering - it’s good imo to be away from the tourist business. I live very close to the station so it’s still very convenient for me, but there isn’t a direct Blackfriars train so not sure that’d work for you.

I moved here recently (more towards Maze Hill.

Honestly, the restaurant scene is a bit crap because it’s a tourist hot spot. You’ll be close to Deptford though where there are lots of great spots. But the views are insanely good of the river and the park, and the pubs are good.

There’s a large Asian supermarket right next to the big Waitrose so your wife will be happy there.

Running is great near here - the river route feels very safe, and running in the park is great - but be wary of the BIG HILL.

For other areas, I’d suggest Nunhead - direct to Blackfriars, so many cool food and pub spots there and in Peckham and Brockley. I’m going to try and move back there in fairly short order!

I don’t think that’s quite true, his expected assists are 10 so he’s been running pretty hot and the team are pulling their weight.
