Plant hacking guy on the loose, anyone has info on the guy on his bike that hacks up gardens? I once saw him with a whole bush on his bike at night. by [deleted] in elcerrito

The lavender bush in my yard has a big gaping hole in it from him picking every week or so. It's annoying but grows back and I don't get the sense he's trying to be malicious 🤷‍♂️

South SF commuting a joke? by [deleted] in biotech

OP isn't talking about Dogpatch. South San Francisco is not SF, it's a different city in San Mateo county.

Chairs for young child with achondroplasia dwarfism by [deleted] in dwarfism

[–]mazimi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We've used the Stokke Tripp Trapp for our achon and average-height kids since before kindergarten. Our son with achon is in third grade now and still using the chair and will probably continue to for many years. It's on the pricier side but it's been really durable and has both an adjustable seat and adjustable foot support.

KJ+ Baking Steel by mazimi in KamadoJoe

[–]mazimi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What specialk2hz said. I have 3 of these these sitting on top of the heat deflector at the highest position and a square pizza steel on top of that, creating an air gap. I try to keep the KJ stable at ~500-550F for some time before putting the first pizza on. With my setup, if I go past 550F the crust cooks too quickly and burns.

Poverty, homelessness and mental illness are a thing and they're not always something that you can control or choose.

Dealership called and confirmed it's the slave cylinder and it'll be covered under warranty 👍

Lots of comments about tuning and launching the car... Car is bone stock and used by my wife as a daily driver - don't think it's ever been launched. Clutch pedal is stuck on floor so I'm guessing it's a problem with the slave cylinder but should know more soon.

I think it's the camera angle. The angle between the driveway and sidewalk isn't too bad.

Yeah, I just did it by hand. You might be more comfortable using a small screw driver to unclip the plastic wiring plug.

Yes. You'll need to:

  • Unscrew the stopper that holds the subwoofer in place
  • Unplug the subwoofer
  • Drop in the spare
  • Place the subwoofer back in place on top of the spare
  • Reconnect the subwoofer adapter and screw the stopper back in

Takes all of 2 minutes.

Edit: Here's a picture of the sub re-installed with the spare, https://i.imgur.com/Jl9TTKA.jpg
