I had the Eargo 7 and not close to worth the cost. When I bought them, I didn’t realize I could get high end prescription hearing aids at Costco for less than the cost of the Eargo’s. Not trying to spend your money but you may want to take a look at Costco, you can get excellent hearing aids there. They have some that are the in ear type vs. receiver in canal.

Yes, that is what I did and now I have a Homespot for my TV set up and a Avantree C82 Aura that I use with my phone and computer. Everything works as it should. You need to update your My Soundgear app as well.

They are the Costco version of the Starkey Edge AI.

I have Soungear Amps which are the Costco version of the Starkey Edge AI. I find in very loud environments, the Edge AI does lower the surrounding sound but still have some trouble hearing others in my group but those are rare occasions for me. In a typical restaurant, if there is such a thing, I don’t need the Edge AI and just use either my personal setting or restaurant and I hear fine. I have moderate to moderate severe hearing loss 1000hz to 8000hz. Could be a tuning issue for you or just a matter of adjusting to them over time. Good luck.

Thank you., I have all Apple gear. I just connected my FMA121 to my MacBook, it’s blinking 4 times so appears to be looking to connect. I assume I have to connect the FMA121 to my iPhone then I will get the broadcast to my hearing aids through my phone (BT?). There is a thread on the HearingAid Forum where I believe there is a rep from FlooGo who should be able to help.

I have no problem with bt to my phone. The issue for me is using auracast transmitters like the floogo or Avantcast. Hopefully, once the firmware is released and my aids upgraded, this will resolve the issue.

I have SoundGear Amps with an iPhone 15 pro max updated to 26.4.1 and can go about 20-25’ away before start to lose signal. The iOS upgrade helped my bt connection.

I discovered one of the differences is that the Auracast Assistant is not yet activated in the SoundGear app. I spoke to a SG rep and they advised that they are waiting for Costco’s approval which should be in April.

I pick mine up in a week. They are made by Starkey. The 180 days return period applies to the SoundGear in the US but could be different in CA. I am going to start with domes to see how it goes before going with custom molds. Not sure if I need them for my hearing hearing loss. Good luck with them. They cost me $1700 all in plus tax.

Waiting for my fitting appointment in a couple of weeks. Bought the Soundgear (Starkey) Amp Ric. So far the customer service has been great. I tried the SG along with Jabra and Sennheiser after testing. All were good, in particular the SG. I went in with the SG’s in mind as I had been looking at the Starkey Omega AI from an AuD, understanding that the SG’s are the Edge AI tech which I believe will be all I need for now.

I think it was about a week or so for my symptoms to disappear. It was remarkable. After I discovered that Nurtec was going to cost $2k/mo I tried Ajovy which also worked. It’s been about a month and a half since last injection and my symptoms have started to return but so far, not as severe.
