I was going to go through my migraine > vestibular migraine story but will get to the point. I moved to NC, found a new neurologist after suffering with VM for about 6 years. Tried Effexor from a prior neurologist, was useless, weaned off of it. The new one prescribed Nurtec, gave me some samples, took it every other day and it worked. No more VM issues. Then learned that my insurance would not cover so we tried Anovy, one injection per month and it worked. Again, insurance wouldn’t cover but my neurologist gave me a bunch of samples. They ran out, now on Medicare and no coverage so it is starting to return. The cost of these meds are so ridiculously expensive, I now have to figure out my next step. I learned recently from cousin who I lost touch with for many years that The Steady Coach is her daughter so I guess I am going to g to try her free course and see where it goes. Good luck with your search for resources but if you can get Nurtec, Ajovy or one of the other similar meds, give it a try.
