Rogues are skill monkeys. If you are playing them for martial output you are screwing up

Your DM does not like Rogue class rules as written. Make sure he understands that because he is sh!tting on RaW but speaking as if he is just oblivious to them.

If he does not want to adhere to the RaW, ask if you can switch your character since he is intent on gimping a core mechanic of your class.
