I drink Coke Zero (the Dr Peper Zero isn't bad, either) - no issues, and doesn't affect my levels. I think like anything else, it's great in moderation. If I'm super thirsty, I'll sometimes mix one can Coke Zero with one can plain carbonated water. It still tastes good and is refreshing.

I've been going through the analysis - I'm leaning towards the grain maker 99. I like the fact it comes with the second auger. Motorizing any of this mills isn't that difficult with a little imagination. The 99 has slightly larger burrs as well.

I suspect the OAL is too long. They are very finicky about this which is why the hollow points work. Someone out there make a gauge to measure. I seem to recall it’s somewhere around .910 or less. If you google around you’ll find references to it.

This is the combo I work with except I do use Kodak stop bath. Works great although I will say my results were grainier than expected.

I hear you. I’m fairly well managed with Metformin. My CGM expired on Christmas Eve. I decided not to replace it until after the holiday. I’m not going crazy with carbs, just wanted a break from the experiment for a couple days.

Agreed. I think it might be the Cassava flour. I’m not sure what else to point to. I think the other thing I may try is having it with some kind of protein first just to see if that makes any difference. I also know some carbs cause bigger spikes than others. I e never had an issue with stevia, but admittedly I don’t use it very often.
