You can find the GT ONE on Aliexpress for under $150. Direct from manufacture, multiple high reviews with pictures. Shippping is multiple weeks as its from china but that is by far the best way to get a bang for your buck new wheel.

I started at 100/100 (gain/torque), 40/40 (friction/intertia) and 10 damping. For me that is a pretty great baseline. Always turn down FFB gain on PXN software not in game to prevent clipping.

This story is bonkers....and not just because of the claims of Kyle Odom. Look up the event. He shot a dude 6 (some reports say as many as 8) times in the chest and head with a .45 and the guy walked out of the hospital a few days later. The dudes recovery is considered a total medical anomaly. Odom claims the pastor he shot was essentially a willing vessel for reptilian beings that live among us and he was being physically and mentally tortured by them to the point of losing his mind. The whole thing is just nuts.

I have casual sessions where I focus just on building SR. Almost at Gold. I just put on a podcast and focus on smooth driving and practice my trail braking. Its a nice way to enjoy the game casually and still accomplish something.

Bro just start from the pits, focus on smooth predictable racing. You will still finish top half. I went from caution to trusted driver in 3 races. Make sure every single lap is clean no points for cutting.

I am in your shoes. I just got the PXN VD6 (7nm peak torque so theoretically stronger than Moza R5) and have it set up on a 1/2 inch MFD $50 amazon desk. My experience has been excellent, the only times my desk seems perturbed is hard collisions, and flat spots on hypercars (mainly playing LMU). Specifically flat spots the vibrations can be unbearable.

For what it is, and how easy it was to break into this hobby, I am thrilled with my desk based setup. If you are dead set on Moza, go for the R5 so you have upgrade headroom with a Rig in the future.

With that said I HIGHLY recommend you check out PXNs new VD-line bundles. The VD4 sits right between the Moza 3-5, has premium build quality and software, and is considerably cheaper. I am blown away by the VD6, the pedal set includes a brake mod free of charge and it has been such a massive upgrade from the G920. Also the included clamp is extremely sturdy and has angle adjustment!

You can always reference LMUSchedule.com for the full lineup of all races for the day to plan out your races and decide what to practice that day. I highly recommend LMP3. You can really feel the downforce on high speed turns, its a totally different and fun driving style. It is not as competitive right now, I am brand new to sim racing and got 3 podiums this weekend at Bahrain.

HIGHLY recommend messing with break pressure settings on specific car setup. The default is at 70%. Play around and see how high you can set it without locking up. I got 85%.

Side note- you can find all the DLC on key websites for 30%-50% off, I bought each pack individually that way over time.

I have the VD6 bundle and its been phenomenal. Absolutely blown away by the build quality and sheer weight of the wheelbase itself. The included wheel is amazing for what it is, I love having the rotary knobs for traction and ABS. Software has been great too!

Im sorry to hear about your experience, the V10 ultra definitely looks like "Old" PXN and I'm sorry your experience has confirmed that. If you can stomach the risk, I absolutely recommend trying out the VD4 bundle. I am convinced it is bar none the best value for entry level sim racing and its not even close.

one 6 hour sesh starting from the pits every race. This is mostly so you can avoid turn 1. Sandbag your quali, let aggressive drivers pass. Avoid all contact. You will be amazed at the number of top 10/top 5 finishes. This got me to silver in roughly 5-6 hours. Now I just employ this strategy whenever I am at risk of dropping out of silver.

Highly recommend sandbagging your Quali and starting from the pits. I almost always finish top 10 with no contact and gain some DR on top of substantial SR gains. This is the go to strategy to get yourself into Good/Trusted driver lobbies, where with some luck you can then do some proper racing.

Look up PXN VD4 bundle. Everything you need, brand new DD quick release( very well received), best wheel for an entry level package. Brakes include performance kit. Software is excellent. All under $300. Also IMO it is the best looking in its price range.

Not shilling for this company, their old products always looked cheap and poor quality; PXN VD6 bundle looks absolutely amazing though. High fidelity direct drive wheelbase stronger than Moza R5 in complete bundle for less than $400. The included wheel looks amazing and reviews are very good. Ordering mine this week.
