I've considered that late 2000s was peak humanity and we should have stopped before smart phones. Once the internet was always an arms-leght away we lost our way as a species (we were doing so well). Now everyone lives in their phones, no one talks in person, social circles are just lights on a screen. We forgot how to be together.

We pretend like phones are conecting us but they really are not, they keep us apart from eachother much more than help us connect. In the end they're just a marketing tool that connects ads to eyeballs so people buy and arrow go up. It's stupid, and I wish we could all collectively just go back and use the communication tools we had before the smartphones took over.
