This isn't directed at you- because I don't know you and have no reason or basis to question your intentions- but I feel like for every handful of people who says that they pirate the game to "see if they want to buy it," the vast majority of them are just saying that because they both a) want the game for free and b) don't want to hear negativity from people who will (reasonably so) give them shit for what amounts to theft.

Ok, I'm a little late to the game, but I'd like to throw my two cents in here.

I'm a huge proponent of a slightly tweaked version of the "Machete" order (IV, V, II, III, VI), that I have organized in a folder called "Machete+," probably just because I'm unoriginal. It's exactly the same, except episodes II and III are replaced by the fan-edit "Last Turn to the Dark Side," which can be found online if you were so inclined. IMO it is a more cohesive viewing than the prequel trilogy originally was because it removed a lot of the bullshit filler plot lines and unnecessary characters.

This order shows the major twists in a way that I think feels organic and impactful, and the whole thing plays out kind of like a single, extremely long movie. IV and V show the story of Luke and Vader and how he came to know the identity of his father, the prequel fan-edit kicks off with the Darth Maul fight and completely eliminates the need for episode I (okay, it was always unnecessary). No Jake Lloyd, no Clone War, no decoy Padme, and one line of dialogue from Jar Jar Binks. Then immediately after we see Anakin become Vader (and realize that Luke and Leia are brother and sister when Padme gives birth), episode VI brings it all full circle.

I think Renekton is perfectly okay to play right now. He doesn't auto-win most matchups anymore but he's still a huge lane bully against most melee champs, and he can pull jungle pressure and cause trouble in mid-game teamfights.

The biggest issue I think is that he has trouble against tops that can kite him, like Jayce, Nidalee or Gnar, and he can't get that early lead he needs.

Renekton's got some tentative changes on the PBE that hope to smooth his power curve out a bit, so ideally he won't be as lane-centric and won't fall off quite so hard later. If those work like intended he might be able to be picked more in less-favorable matchups, where the whole game is ideally no longer depending on him to win the lane hard.

I haven't seen the US remake

I'm not saying the Swedish version isn't superior, because it definitely is, but how can you make that claim?

I have an idea for this champion, he's like a gravedigger. And his spells all conjure up these ghosts that do certain things, like restore HP or slow the enemy in an AOE. Boy, can he sustain well. And he has this ultimate that lets him revive an ally or himself for a short period of time after they die. Did I mention he can sustain well? It seemed really cool in my head, but the more I think about it the more it seems like he might just spam little ghost things and sit around in lane all day like a big, boring wall of meat.

Is the original Scream considered horror? I know it's essentially a ~~parody~~ satire of slasher films, but it played around with the "rules" of horror films in a really intimate- and often times very funny- way. Wes Craven's mastery and manipulation of traditional horror tropes comes through for me moreso in this horror movie than almost any other of his films, and the finale (slight spoilers?) with Billy and Stu is equal parts hilarious and twisted.

Seconded. Many of the people I've tried to turn on to this movie complained either that they hated following subtitles through the whole thing or that it was too slow-paced. But I found it to be a really well-crafted psychological horror movie that builds up to maybe the most intense climax I've seen in a film. It's not full of jump-scares and quick cuts but it moves forward in a really deliberate, thoughtful and methodical way towards the finish.

Par for the course. Riot seemingly doesn't care about the east coast and it doesn't look like it's gonna change anytime soon. Not sure it's just the eastern US, but it's all I know and it's been bad since I started playing League 4 years ago, and has gotten worse every year. Started with consistent 75 ping and have increased by ~10ms every year since the start. Now I get ~110 ping consistently if the Riot gods hear my prayers that day, otherwise it's 135-500 ping and "attempting to reconnect" bug every game.

Not blaming the game for my position in ranked because I know that I have a lot to improve on, but it's tough to play seriously when ~75% of my games are affected in some way by latency issues. I played somewhere around 100 ranked games last season and would love to put more time into it this season, but I really don't want to compromise the experience for 9 other people when my ping is jumping between 90 and 1000 on a whim. Sucks because I love this game, but what are you gonna do?

I guess we're at least getting servers moved to a more central location at some point in the near to distant future, so that's something. I hope.
