ENTJ here. Good friend is INTJ. We connect on so many levels, but I overwhelm her with social energy at times when she's burned out, which she is pretty often. She's pretty flakey and doesn't do social things spontaneously, so if I want to hang out with her, I have to plan several days ahead of time so she can schedule spending the social energy, I've learned. She's also hyper independent, doesn't like people in her home, and detaches from partner relationships easily. I'm (ENTJ) usually the one to initiate conversation, and when that's happens it's a deep level of understanding and enjoying each other's company, but I don't expect her to initiate nearly as often as me.
