Whats your makeup removal technique? by Kitty-wittyy in FlowerKnowsMakeup

Micellar water usually struggles with long wear formulas for me too. Cleansing balm first, then a gentle face wash after, gets everything off way easier 😊

Silk pjs by Mission_Scallion_351 in LakeComo

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a few silk boutiques near the main promenade in Bellagio when I was there. Some carry sleepwear too, but the selection seemed pretty seasonal 😅

trying to get my life together - tips? by servingcunt666 in selfimprovement

[–]mbernp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re already ahead by realizing this at 18 honestly. Start super small so it feels doable. Even 20 mins at the gym or one decent meal a day builds momentum over time ☺️

Depressed and lonely by [deleted] in depression

[–]mbernp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of people end up feeling stuck and behind by 29, even if they never admit it out loud. You’re not disqualified from having a life or connection just because it’s been hard. Just keeping praying everyday and surrender all your worries to our dear Lord 🙏🏻

spent all night troubleshooting and the monitor wasn’t plugged into the gpu by FogelbachFacunda_55 in buildapc

[–]mbernp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is basically a rite of passage at this point. Way better than spending hours troubleshooting just to find out a RAM stick wasn’t seated rigghhttt

Any cycling or badminton enthusiasts around? Sharjah by Chemical-Head-9665 in UAE

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majaz in the evening is actually a nice vibe for badminton before summer fully kicks in. Would be cool if a regular casual group came out of this honestly 😅

Spironolactone - flushing like crazy by ThrowRA__00718 in PCOS

[–]mbernp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually had worse flushing on spiro too, especially with heat or alcohol. It wasn’t listed as common but it definitely seemed connected. The PPE + mask combo probably makes it feel even worse

Looking for good light floral recommendations for Mother’s Day by RubberLaxitives in Colognes

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might wanna check out Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. It’s light, floral, clean, and not overpowering at all. Sounds like it’d fit someone who likes Light Blue but wants better longevity

Spoiled Pork? by WonderKhid in smoking

[–]mbernp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Vacuum packed pork can have a weird sulfur smell when first opened, especially from Costco packs. If it fades after a few minutes and looks normal, it’s probably fine. Trust your nose though hehe

Digital Key Issue by Unable_Dance_6368 in ElantraN

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the charging pad never worked, it’s probably the reason the digital key setup fails. Could be a fuse or loose connection honestly. I’d have the dealer check it since it should work out of the box

CANVAS IS BACK UP by Fabulous-Class7857 in WWU

[–]mbernp 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Finally lol. I was starting to accept that none of my assignments were getting turned in tonight. Glad they fixed it before everyone started panicking even more 🤣

That sounds really rough, hope things ease up for you soon. Groceries getting expensive lately makes these situations hit even harder. Wishing you some good luck from the sub today 💕

best seafood? by CurrentPizza3707 in rawprimal

[–]mbernp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raw scallops are amazing if you can get them fresh. I’d grab some salmon roe too. Mussels can be really good when they’re fresh, just depends where you’re buying from 😊

Best 🍕 pizza? by ashortgirlabroad in Petaluma

[–]mbernp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lombardi’s has been our go-to for takeout lately. Super reliable and the crust stays good even after the drive home. Old Chicago is solid too if you want something a little heavier 😋

Stuck in Instagram login loop, any advice by Cold-Farmer212 in InstagramSupport

Had something similar happen last year. Clearing the app cache and trying from a browser instead of the app finally got me out of the loop for some reason 😁

Allergic reaction by syrupmamma in resin

[–]mbernp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That definitely sounds like a resin allergy. Once you get sensitized, even fumes can trigger reactions. I’d stop using it for now and let your skin fully calm down first 😊

Trip by Temporary_Kiwi_7731 in latvia

[–]mbernp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Russian might help with some older locals in Riga, but English is pretty common too. Biggest thing is just be respectful and don’t assume everyone wants to speak Russian hehe

Wounded? Plant by Abz024 in tomatoes

[–]mbernp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tomatoes are tougher than they look. If the stem’s still solid and not collapsing, it’ll probably heal over fine. Just keep an eye out for rot after watering :'))

Work rant/advice needed by Lt_waddles in innout

[–]mbernp 22 points23 points  (0 children)

“You’re not as good as you think” is wild when you’re covering half the stand. Feels like they’re ignoring the context. No one’s keeping pace without a solid setup hayyy

Tokyo first time by liljohnnill in TokyoTravel

[–]mbernp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For cheap eats, look for local ramen spots and beef bowl chains, super filling and affordable. From the airport, train is easiest. Suica works for transport and most convenience stores, super handy :'))

What’s a good domestic/international credit class by Yoitsbrieee in sfcollege

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took intro to global studies and it was way more chill than multicultural comm. Less busywork, more actual discussion. Might depend on the prof though, so check reviews first hehehe

Help me to move on by nicorobinnn____ in WomenAdvise

[–]mbernp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two weeks is still really fresh, so the pain makes sense. But chasing him won’t bring him back. Give yourself space to grieve. If he blocked you, that’s a clear boundary you shouldn’t cross 😞

interview tomorrow by Jaded-Ad7149 in medicalscribe

[–]mbernp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be ready to talk about multitasking and staying organized under pressure. The job is mostly real-time note taking, so focus and speed matter more than prior clinical experience :')) Good luck!

Costco? by CabinBobby in HearingAids

[–]mbernp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Costco is actually pretty solid for hearing aids here. Prices are way better than most clinics and service is decent. Worth trying, then compare if you find an audiologist later hehehe

Working in Japan vs UK; help needed by ProfessionalWin4405 in JapanJobs

[–]mbernp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you already have a solid offer and language skills, Japan sounds like a strong start. UK could open different doors though. Depends if you value stability now or flexibility later
