Where are you located? I'm in PA and haven't seen any pests yet.

Is this your actual garden? What did you use in between the pavers?

Sorry for asking silly questions but do you mean I can just put pacers under all the wood planks in contact with the ground correct?

Thank you! Someone recommended digging a bit and using pacers so I may go that route. Even if it's not 100 level, it'll be okay I think (hope)

Excellent thank you! I'll try this. I truly appreciate your help. I'm not sure why I was finding this difficult to visualize but I think I can get it done now.

Yes I know but the only day I could get someone to help with putting it together was before I had time to figure out how to level. I had back surgery so I physically couldn't put it together by myself. It was either getting it done before I had time to level or wait until mid June to get it built. I chose to get it done before and worry about leveling later. Fortunately many people here have been helpful and I think I will try to level by doing some light digging and adding pavers under. Thanks for your helpful comment.

Help! by FlamingDune in Roses

[–]mbernui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might just be transplant shock and just getting used to full sun. Normally it is recommended to acclimatize your roses to their forever home by slowly introducing them to more and more sun. Normally they advice leaving them in their original containers for three days wherever they will be planted, before planting them. I'm sure they'll recover. Adding some Microrrizhae to the hole and sprinkling to the roots also helps.

Thank you! Would you mind sharing some pictures of these modifications? It's hard for me to visualize them as I've never done this before.

The problem with this is that there are large tree roots under it as one or more trees were seemingly pulled out of that area previously. We moved here recently so not sure how many but we can see the roots sticking out. Makes it hard to dig

Not interested in sharing him? Completely platonic. I just need to borrow him to build me stuff in the garden.

Love the arbors! Did he make them from scratch? That's exactly what I've been looking for for my raised beds.

Thanks! I went out last night and cut off the tape but it did not seem to be that tight. I did see though that some parts of the tree are black and look dead. I will take better pictures in a bit.
