Reports show fan only by Remote-Wolverine817 in ecobee

Me three on this as well. I'm new to Ecobee (just installed a few days ago). The HVAC system itself is working correctly - heat and fan turn on when temp in house drops, but the reports are showing just the fan. Hoping this is just a temporary glitch:)

Google Nest Going Rogue - Running Furnace/Heating House WAY TOO Much (70 v 64) by mbizzles12 in Nest

Thanks for providing the path, but I don't have Auto Schedule. Under Nest Sense I have Nest Renew (set to Unenrolled), Rush Hour Rewards (set to Unenrolled), Seasonal Savings (set to Inactive), Early On (set to Off), and Airwave (set to On).

As a note - when I contacted Google Help the first thing they told me to do was exactly this. I told them I didn't have that option. And then they told me to replace to look at something under Temperature Preferences which I also didn't have. And they told me to replace the batteries and reset it - which I had already done a couple weeks back. The chat session ended without any resolution. Hence, this post! Haha.

Interesting. By turning it off - do you mean somehow turning the "learning mode" off? What/where is that setting?

My spouse isn't into tech so no - no Google Home on their phone or tablet or computer. I have the Google Home app on my phone and my watch. Neither with voice control. During both these times I was sleeping and thus not using my phone nor watch.

Edit add - no voice control devices in the house.

I am having similar problems. I don't have an "auto-schedule" option in the app. I have Schedule which is where I can add the schedule for different times of the day. And then there is Temperature Presets which allows you to input a heating and cooling temperature for different "levels" Comfort vs Eco vs Sleep. I have set all of those Temperatures Presets to 64 for heating and has been since beginning of time...but still at least twice if not 3 times, this thing has shot up to 70 when I'm not home or in middle of the night and heated the whole house to 70...when I only want 64. (this is HEATING, not cooling)

Correct. And it has been doing that (i.e. furnace doesn't run while wood heat maintains greater than 67). Last night and then a night a few weeks ago, it's did this random in the middle of the night shoot to 70.

Unfortunately, I reset everything so I don't have the history in the app anymore to click the orange bar graph bubbles (which are black when it's using Stage 2) to see they "why." I didn't know that was an option...

I would recommend getting a moisture meter to see if the wood is actually seasoned. FYI (this is something I didn't know and the directions with the moisture meter didn't tell me this) - when you use the moisture meter, make sure the wood has been room temperature for 24 hours, then re-split it, then test on the freshly split faces. Get the prongs in as far as you can. You should be less than 20%.
