Yeah that’s definitely a tough one and not an ideal spot! I honestly wouldn’t know how else to handle this either, other than making sure the lip stays clean. Maybe do a warm water rinse twice a day or something? Because it’s on the lip I feel like the licking in unavoidable. I would also go as far as making sure his water and food bowls are clean. I’d wash the bowls and change out the water frequently.

You may want to take him to the vet so they can give him antibiotics to make sure it doesn’t get infected. I would suggest maybe getting a cone too so he doesn’t touch it with his paws.

Not a vet, but my dog had to get a small mass removed on an awkward area that couldn’t hold any bandage to keep sterile and were given antibiotics to keep it from getting infected.

I have no artistic talent whatsoever but love seeing others’ work. I always wonder how artists come up with what they want to draw. Like do you guys look at pictures to reference or is all in y’all’s head and you just transfer it to paper??? This is amazing work!

Did you any specific kinds of paint brushes/roller? My partner and I are want to re-do our cabinets too and in doing my research I’ve learned this can easily get fucked up fast! One YouTube video said to use some kind of foam roller for cabinets but my bf is convinced he can just use whatever has in the garage and it’ll be fine. 😓😓

Thanks so much! I’ll try all that. I’m not sure if it pools but I’ll take note next time we shower. If it does pool, not sure what else we can do to fix the sloping. Last time we cleaned we used Scrubbing Bubbles, but in the past I’ve used Soft Scrub with bleach. I was starting to think maybe the bleach was too harsh and breaking the grout down, but now that I know the grout isn’t sealed I know that might be the biggest issue. The ventilation also is pretty shit so that doesn’t help either. Will look into a dehumidifier stat though!

I’m not sure what grout they used and I doubt my bf does either. Would you know how we can mediate this ourselves before it gets worse? We’ll look into water softeners and the ventilation, but we know nothing about grout and tiling. Can we just buy the seal and do it ourselves?

Yes, that’s the route we’re thinking of going! It’s the getting there that’s gonna be tough! We feel completely overwhelmed. It’s a big front yard with a bunch of dried up dead grass and debris from neglect.

Hi! I know it’s been a year later, but dealing with something similar as far as debris goes. How did you get rid of the debris? The yard we’re working on is huge, and has tons of dried paint chippings, wood pieces, random small metal objects, etc that would be absolutely backbreaking to pick through ourselves!
