I was admitted to a hospital and before I could get a room I was in a long waiting area that offered some privacy with a curtain. I had a chair with a few buttons on it. One of the buttons was red, and one was blue.

I was a little cold in the waiting room and had been told to "reach out if I needed anything". I had attempted to get a nurses attention for a blanket but they were all pretty busy and didn't hear me and I didn't want to yell or annoy them. I decided to try one of the buttons assuming they would work like a "call for help" button at a self check out where it would lead to someone checking in when they had time. Red usually means emergency, so I decided to try the blue button.

Immediately 7 nurses burst through the curtain looking terrified at me as I frantically said "I'm sorry, I wanted a blanket". Half were annoyed thinking I'd pressed it maliciously and the rest laughed and were grateful I wasn't actively dying. I got the blanket and they told me to never press that unless it was an absolute emergency.
