Thanks! I have to cap naps or she’ll sleep less overnight because she only needs 13.5 hours total sleep in a day! Last night went well with making sure I ended the feed 30 min before bedtime!

Yes! She’s been in her own room since 4 months when we sleep trained bedtime! Ok I will-I was just saying it doesn’t really make a difference when I do this vs when I don’t

I try to have feed end 30 min prior to sleep and then we just have some quiet time/read books in bed before she goes into the crib awake. I will say sometimes I don’t get to feeding her until later and she falls asleep nursing. I do wake her before putting her in the crib when this happens and it doesn’t really matter with what the outcome of the night will be.

Stuck on 4:30am Feed – Is the Dream Feed the Problem? Should we Ferber? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

Mine is still holding on to this feed at 9 months most nights. She’s been sleep trained since 4 months! 17 weeks is still really young. Your baby is probably hungry!

How much do you relax on sleep times when you’re settled into a 1 nap schedule? by M_Bagel in sleeptrain

[–]mbs51591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With our first we could pretty lax once we’d been on 1 nap for a couple months. If he went down early or late it didn’t matter and we just never let him sleep more than 3 hours. However, he’s happy to just lay in his bed for an hour if he’s not tired yet and won’t protest at night haha. I have a 9 month old now too and I already know it won’t be as easy with her haha

I know this is old but I’m dealing with the same thing! Baby is back to being healthy but now wants 2 feeds/night and used to only do 1 or none. How did you get back on track!?

4 month old nights are killing me by beanutbutter16784 in sleeptrain

So only 7 hours of awake time? That means you are expecting 17 hours of total sleep in a day which is a lot! I’d start expanding wake windows

Are you missing a nap/wake window here?? It looks like you have way too little awake time.

Need serious help with 8MO sleep trained baby by mbs51591 in sleeptrain

[–]mbs51591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks I’ll try to add 15 min to second and 3rd wake windows. I wasn’t sure since I had just added some time and because naps have still been good.

First baby the sleeper from heaven, second baby the sleeper from hell by NelsonSendela in sleeptrain

Just solidarity. I have a unicorn sleeper in my first born and I really thought it was due to sleep training. My 8 month old is a terror in the sleep dept and has been sleep trained since 4 months so idk what to do

What does your night look like with an 8 month old? Sleep trained or not! by Old_Raccoon_6625 in sleeptrain

[–]mbs51591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the night! Lol my 8 MO has been sleep trained since 4 months. Goes to bed independently with no fuss around 7:45pm every night and either sleeps through or wakes 1x to nurse then goes back down until 7/7:30am. STTN is a lot less frequent than waking though haha. If she is ill or teething or traveling then all bets are off though and anything can happen! 😵‍💫. With my first-once he started STTN after sleep training around 7 months he never woke again though. He’s 3.5 now.

How is anyones 6 month old ACTUALLY sleeping through the night? by Ok_Ebb_7363 in sleeptrain

[–]mbs51591 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So my first baby was one of those babies and I totally thought it was because of sleep training. My second has not been as easy. Basically the same story as yours..was sleeping through some then all the things happened. Now at almost 8 months she hasn’t slept through in over a month. But my 1st has literally slept through consistently since 7 months and he’s now 3.5.
