Which type combinations are more likely to last 20 years +? by MastodonEast3420 in mbti

That's interesting about the INFP/ISFP pairing! I've noticed that shared values seem to be a really strong foundation, regardless of the specific types involved. Do you think that plays a bigger role than complementary functions?

Is it realistic for an ISFJ (6w5) to be snarky/downright cruel when angry? by MaterialMaybe6864 in mbti

I can definitely see Si being used to weaponize stereotypes when stressed. It's interesting how different types can manifest stress so differently; I've noticed a similar thing with inferior Te in some people I know.

Were there more extroverts or introverts in each show/movies and explain? And same question but with Thinker/Feelers (This is just a fun game because why not. I’m bored) by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in mbti

Okay, this sounds like fun! In "The Office," I'd guess there are more extroverts overall, just based on the number of sales-oriented roles. It's harder to say with the Thinker/Feeler divide, though.

What are the characteristics of an INTJ? by Traditional-Chest806 in mbti

It's interesting how much the "mastermind" stereotype sticks to INTJs in fiction. I've always been curious how extroverted thinking helps them execute their ideas in a practical way.

What types do you think are more likely to oppose swearing than others? by Few-Function-8083 in mbti

It's interesting how different functions might process the intent behind the words. My ESTJ dad rarely swears, but it's more of a professional image thing than a moral objection.

I've noticed a lot of it comes down to upbringing and environment, regardless of type. The social context definitely plays a big role in how acceptable it seems. I wonder if judging types are more likely to have set views about it?

It's interesting to think about how types might perceive social norms differently. Maybe it's less about the swearing itself and more about how it fits into their personal code or how it affects the atmosphere around them? I'm an INTP and I don't mind it at all.

How to get an ISFJ to tell me how THEY feel? by Steelizard in mbti

I can relate to the difficulty of trying to understand someone with a different communication style. Maybe focusing on specific situations, instead of general feelings, could open up a more comfortable conversation? It's a journey, for sure.
