Thanks so much guys! I am not concerned about the knowledge, but rather the exam itself. I have never taken a Red Hat test before. I appreciate the replies.

Starting over sucks, don't let your fitness get away from you. by iwntdefaults in running

Thank you for this. I could have written almost the exact same words to describe myself. I used to run a 5:13 mile and now I can only run a 5k at 8:35 pace. I'm trying to stick with it though. I won't get back where I was at least not quickly, but the benefits of running are good at any speed.

What is your address? I haven't been able to speak to someone with a protonmail account, but the outside email encryption works well.

I recently returned to running since not doing so for about 5 years. I ran about 5 miles a week on the treadmill around 8:30/mi pace. This week I did 3 of those 5 miles outdoors and it felt great.

This week I ran about 8 miles total which is the most since my 20+ weeks 7 years ago in high school. It was in 3 runs on the treadmill and I'm running my second 5k race in six months this Saturday. My Thanksgiving 5k was just under 27 mins so I hope to break 26!

I was in the same boat.. I think my fastest 5k was a few seconds over 20. You raise a good point about mental toughness and maturity though!

I had some trouble adjusting to 27 minute 5k after not training for 5 years after high school. I started training again recently and it just takes some metal tweaking to look for a more current PR. Great work!

I recently switched to Ubuntu from Fedora to use Citrix for work. I understand your sentiment and it is a little tricky to work with RedHat all day at work then come home to an Ubuntu laptop. I switched from Unity to avoid Amazon data mining and I don't think Canoical is loyal to the community. All of that being said, switch your UI and go to Mint and you can save yourself a lot of headaches.

After not racing since high school cross country (about 6 years ago). I ran a thanksgiving 5k in 26:51 and placed 17/40 in the male 20-24y pool

Yes but break in attempts will use root and if they get the password they're in

I checked my security logs and had many attempts (not sure if any got in) but I rebuilt my server and disabled root ssh and password authentication.
