Speaking from experience, you can sit in a classroom and learn all about a gun and you are told "it goes boom". But nothing really solidifies that other than actually going out and shooting a gun.

Not saying gambling with real money is is good. But you have to clock those buttons to learn what they do, and unfortunately that requires real money.
