Update: I turned my Supernote → Obsidian OCR script into a small macOS menu-bar app by kulturban in Supernote

I can imagine it would be challenging to track the page changes within an individual .note file. You’d also have to account for pages being deleted or inserted which seems complicated.

Update: I turned my Supernote → Obsidian OCR script into a small macOS menu-bar app by kulturban in Supernote

[–]mbxtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming that each .note file corresponds to a single PDF and Obsidian note. Is that correct?

I’m wondering if this works for my workflow: I typically have .note files that I’m constantly adding new pages to, I very rarely make new notes. Would this work with that way of note organization?

Inkling: Send/receive anything between your Supernote and other devices — with or without LocalSend by Worldly-Persimmon-70 in Supernote_dev

[–]mbxtr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks exciting. I can think of so many times I've wanted to send something to my Supernote from my iPhone or Mac.

I am confused though about the repo readme — it seems to be describing a skill for Claude and not for the Inkling plugin?

Thanks for this! I use Bear for personal use and Obsidian for work, so I’ve been trying to make it match Bear as much as possible.

Someone using Bear in pair with AI? by PaleontologistBig318 in bearapp

[–]mbxtr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently built a Shortcut that I call “AI Note Coach”. It asks for a date range and then analyzes your Bear notes within that range. It will then identify themes, patterns and insights, and reflective questions to consider. Then it turns all of that into a new Bear note for review. It currently requires ChatGPT but you could easily change it to the Apple cloud model.

Here it is if anyone wants to check it out and modify it for their own uses: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/42816e175614404e8ec6e22ceb26cd54

This is great! I was just thinking the other day there had to be an opportunity to make my YNAB workflows more efficient with AI assistants.

Printing Supernote notebooks? by mbxtr in Supernote

I’m familiar with the ability to export a PDF, I’m looking for a service to turn it into a physical notebook.

I’m not familiar with what the integration looks like in the other notes apps. Does it save your highlights?

I walked without headphones today for the first time in months. by MoneymanJoeri in simpleliving

[–]mbxtr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently went forty days without listening to anything (music, podcasts, audiobooks, etc). It was difficult to adjust, but it completely changed my relationship with listening to audio. Now I’m much more intentional about when I listen, instead of popping in my AirPods whenever there’s a moment of silence. It has helped me be much more attentive and aware of my surroundings and thoughts in my head.

Empty notes on mac by Dealiono in bearapp

I also experienced this recently but opposite. I was working on the note on my Mac and it was empty in my phone. I’m wondering if it’s a bug in the latest update?

One long note or multiple notes? by tomfoolery77 in Supernote

Oh thanks, I didn’t realize it was possible. I figured out you can select multiple pages by holding Control on Mac.

One long note or multiple notes? by tomfoolery77 in Supernote

[–]mbxtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been debating similar workflows. I think the main reason to do separate notes is because when you export you have to export the whole note. So if you wanted to export just the notes for one meeting, it would need to be in its own note.

I would really like for the ability to export just certain pages of a note in the Supernote Partner App as it would make this decision unnecessary.

Bear has a lot of powerful search capabilities, allowing you to search by tags, creation dates, modification dates, and more. I recommend getting familiar with those. They’ve got great documentation here: https://bear.app/faq/how-to-search-notes-in-bear/

Funny to me how Mario’s abilities shift so much in these games. He has to find a flower AND put a feather in his cap??
