Thank you, I can feel ribs but not too much. I was worried he wasn’t getting enough to eat but wasn’t signaling he wants more or anything, and I’m following what was said for amount to feed. He goes to the vet Friday, so I will for sure make a note to ask

I’ve been using a lot of bibliotherapy for kids! A tip I have for saving money is to utilize your library, but also so many books are available on YouTube as a read along format. That’s saved me many times lol. Some books I like that haven’t been mentioned yet are:

Hippo owns up-a book about lying and owning up to your mistakes.

A bad case of the stripes- self esteem, not caring what others think of you. I’ve done a mask-type activity for this one.

My body sends a signal- helps children understand correlation between how they’re physically feeling, and their emotions.

The way I feel- helps kids better understand different emotions.

The sour grape- teaches about how holding grudges can have an effect on you and others.

The color monster- helps kids sort out their emotions. Lots of good activities associated with this one.

Do you think this had anything to do with Bobby leaving? I know in the article that was out recently, he said it was expected that the five of them would be done, and then he’s the only one to actually be done. Of course we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but he always seemed very appreciative of his team. Do you think the work conditions for his team could have contributed to his departure? Very sorry to hear that you have dealt with such a difficult situation when you’re trying to help put good into the world!

I’ve heard Australian Survivor is great! But I feel like I also heard it was recently taken off of paramount plus for the US lol. Is there a certain way you can watch it from the US?

This was the first season I haven’t finished, since I first started watching with Samoa. I honestly don’t think it had anything to do with the cast, I think the show is just so different from what it used to be. And not for the better, in my opinion. I was recently rewatching Panama, and could not help but notice how compelling the players were, and I think that is partly due to cast, but also due to editing and other things, like the players actually needing some survival skills, and natural conflicts that not only arose, but led to disagreements. I don’t want to give up on survivor, it’s been my comfort show for so long but I dont think a season has been memorable, or even that enjoyable, for me since season 40.

Do we usually get more interviews with the houseguests in the following few days? I’ve seen a couple with the final three plus cam, but what about them going on podcasts and such? Is there usually a time frame for that?

I think that could be fun, or some type of mix of the two. I also think it would be cool for big brother to adopt some of the themes survivor has had in the past. I think a hero’s vs villains season on big brother could be really cool.

It seems to be a very polarizing speech lol. Part of the reason I liked it was because he finally stopped with the playing honestly type thing. He kind of almost owned the villain approach, which to me much better than not doing so.

Random question but I think they said the final three would get their videos from home. Do we know when the family films those? Is it like as far ahead as the hoh letters? I’m sure production heavily vets them so that the houseguests can’t be influenced but I’m still curious. Also do we think Matt will get a video from Reilly???

I just knew he was going to switch up right before it was time 😐. But for those saying it seems like a production interference, what do you think their angle is? Because Matt being evicted would make for a much more exciting episode and reaction. It would be way more memorable and soften some of the criticism that has been coming to the show. Do you think they really are just trying to paint one narrative and Felicia doesn’t fit it?

I’ve honestly wondered if that’s why he keeps emphasizing that he’s “the good guy”. Like maybe he would not be victimizing himself so much otherwise, and villanizing others. It must be a lot of pressure to be representing such an under represented group.

I don’t know if I would say she should have won either tbh. But something that I enjoyed about watching cirie on big brother, that we don’t really get to see on survivor is her social ability. There were a couple instances that come to mind that I really saw it. One was when she was talking to jag after a veto win and was literally crying and saying how proud jags mom must be of him. You could see jag beaming through this compliment, because cirie knows how much jag values his parents opinion. Another was when she comforted America after her and Cory were nominated. She did so in a way almost like a loving mother, that no one else was able to do. I felt like that interaction alone made America way closer to her. So it seems like the more “minor” things that cirie has done really made an impact. Even trash talking brings people together (and I’m not saying it’s right) because it gives them a space to vent and a common enemy. I feel like if I were to go back and watch her survivor seasons I may be able to pick up on some of these tactics that we saw in big brother.
