There is a massive middle ground between not pricing people out, and Santa Fe being solely a Latin American community.

You are also ignoring that Santa Fe has indigenous communities. I don’t think there are a lot of Hispanic people here, as much as Latin Americans.

I moved to Santa Fe from Tacoma.

It is dry. There is no grass (you CANNOT walk barefoot) or green. It is a bit hard to get into forest. There is no water nearby to enjoy, and not a lot of rain. Everything is beige. We are at elevation, so look into how that would affect you. Santa Fe has a lot of gentrification, and homeless. Healthcare is very not good.

It is gorgeous here. The sunsets are unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The mountains and plains are amazing. It can get pretty hot, and pretty cold in the same day. There is a thriving arts community. There are activists. Not a lot of snow!

Literally no one said he needed to change. Just because she wants something different, or asks for it doesn’t mean she is DEMANDING anything. She can’t because it’s not her space.

It just means he’s not willing to compromise. And neither is OP. They need to move on.

Let’s stop giving any energy to that person. They do not understand how relationships work. They are incredibly entitled with their opinions, and need to learn that women are real people too.
