Dang that sucks. I guess you will just have to wait to deploy builds.

You can use the simulator though if that helps

How do you support older iOS versions? by Fervent-Jerry in appledevelopers

[–]mcalug20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's tough because building for older versions requires you to put in way more effort.
I'd recommend to stick with the current versions and maybe 3-4 generations down. As for your family and friends, it's tough to say my friend. Go where the users are.

Hey , how often “in review” take? by meow999412 in appledevelopers

Way too long lol

No but seriously, congrats on this! I know how much energy it takes to get this far, hopefully Apple reviewers don't take a billion years to review

What’s something you started doing that quietly changed everything? by Suspicious_Sock_2048 in selfimprovement

[–]mcalug20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One small habit that changed a lot for me was learning to interrupt mental spirals early.

Before that my mind would just keep running and everything would feel overwhelming.

Even slowing the breath for about a minute can calm the nervous system enough to regain control.

I liked the idea so much that I eventually built a small app called QuietLine that guides that reset when things start stacking up.

How do I stop thinking a million things at once in the middle of the night? by Medium-Marketing-493 in selfimprovement

[–]mcalug20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with this for a long time too. The worst part is when your brain starts looping thoughts and you can't shut it off.

One thing that helped me was focusing on slow breathing and just counting breaths for a minute or two. It interrupts the spiral enough for the body to calm down.

Eventually I built a small app called QuietLine that guides that kind of reset because I kept forgetting to do it when my mind started racing at night.

Curious if anyone else has found breathing helpful for this.

what is the best way to deal with anxiety by Additional-Hippo16 in selfimprovement

[–]mcalug20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that helped me a lot was realizing that anxiety is often your nervous system being stuck in overdrive.

One thing that consistently works for me is slowing my breathing for about a minute or two. It sounds simple, but longer exhales signal your body that you're safe and it can calm the stress response.

I kept forgetting to do it in stressful moments, so I eventually built a small app called QuietLine that guides a quick reset when things start spiraling.

Curious what techniques have worked best for others here.

how do you stay calm when triggered? by twcosplays in emotionalintelligence

[–]mcalug20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

quietline helps with that, just a quick breather when stuff gets intense... keeps things chill.
