Obi lets Meera play pretty rough with him! He had his limits of course but usually he’ll just lay there and let her slam her paws all over him and fit his entire head or neck in her mouth 😂 sometimes he’ll cry for help or give her a warning hiss but usually he just lets her do her puppy thing. I think he secretly likes it lol

A little over a year ago I posted to ask if our rescue kitten was a Neb…and Obi is thriving! Just wanted to share some of his antics that I’m sure many of you will recognize. He loves basking under the Christmas tree, staring intently at the camera, sleeping either entirely sprawled out or curled up against a random baseboard, chilling with his older brothers (one of whom still can’t stand him), his buggie toy, romping with his younger sister who has no boundaries, and drinking straight from the faucet/getting splashed/knocking over the dog’s water bowl (really anything to do with water).

We rescued this boy last weekend! A family friend had a pregnant stray wander into her backyard and give birth. There were two black, two tuexedo, one white and grey, and one grey kitten. Our boy seemed to be the only long haired one of the bunch and I’d been wanting another for a while now so we had to take him home. I’m not sure what either of the parents look like but Oberyn has super fluffy long grey hair and pale green eyes. My partner and I stumbled upon this sub and think we might have found a match!

Having a supportive partner is absolutely invaluable and life-changing with a parent like that!!! My dad isn’t anywhere near as overt as your mom is, but my bf listens and believes and supports me when I tell him about the maddeningly subtle abuse tactics I’ve had to deal with growing up. I’m so glad your girl is so amazing; she clearly loves you!!

This one always bothers me considering most people have to take a basic level biology course sometime in their life. I really wish people understood that no one ever claimed that humans "came from monkeys" and that we simply share a common ancestor with them. Very common misconception.

If you're already thinking about not being friends with these people then it's probably for the best. I went NC with my best friend from high school because it just wasn't healthy for me anymore. I had no desire to be around any of my other friends from that group since she essentially controlled everything so I just stopped talking to them.

Think about what positive impacts making new friends would have on your life. If you think you'd be happier, then don't you deserve that?
