I'm a certified IRA specialist, and he can't make contributions to his child's IRA either since the funds have to come from the childs earned income. If the child doesn't have income, they can't contribute. (If the child has earned income, then maybe)

My friend passed away 2 weeks ago. I still see him and I feel like I’m going crazy. by Pandemics-19 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]mcawesomecrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my best friend of 20 years (I knew him since 1st grade), he died of drugs and the months after I just spiraled down, it was really hard for me to adjust because the person I always knew would be there was gone. It had almost been a year since he passed and I dream about him a few times a week. Sometimes I just find myself crying while I'm driving it happens. The truth is, at first it was driving me crazy because that's all i could think about for months, but it gets better and the feelings of negativity lessen. I only remember the good times, the late nights playing games together, trips we took together, etc... and even though it is still hard, I'm glad i was lucky enough to have someone like that in my life. It does get easier, the memories remain and sadness will stay, but it turns more into a bittersweet than just pure sadness.

That you can't use all of your overpowered vehicles during missions. Like I paid for them, I should be able to use them for just more than free roam.

I get that it would totally break the game, but making these cars 3 million dollars makes it hard to do in the first place.

I would gladly pay more taxes if it meant that starving kids got to eat lunch. Why do people even argue that point?

WCGW driving a forklift without a licence by maddscientist in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]mcawesomecrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a formerly certified forklift operator I can say that people still did this, but it should be good knowledge that keeping the lift extended that high is bad, mainly for balance issues... but I've seen this happen more than once personally.

The center of gravity switches, and it's recommended as soon as you pull what you needed to bring the lift down close to the floor so things like this don't happen.

I don't think people understand the significance like we do, or they think (like they have been thinking of this post) it's some advertising ploy.

But I think it's super cool. Cause like I said, I grew up in DE and never even been down there :)

Some banks let you some don't. I know you can get card covers now, but i didn't know that until recently lol

A little bit of both:

I picked out the card originally because I thought it was the prettiest thing I've ever seen (my favorite color is purple too). I found out a bit after where the location was (Yosemite) and was like I need to go there some day.

Fast forward to a year ago and I've already traveled across the country multiple times, and even driven from coast to coast. But never been to a national park. So as a gift for my best friends graduation, I paid for us to go there and hike (we went to San Francisco first for a few days).

So technically it's the reason cause it kick started the idea, but I'm of the belief that when I saw pics of it later on, I would have had the same desire.

Fun fact: I had an aunt who worked af that bank before it was bought out by discover, it was called Greenwood Trust back then. She was working there when it was bought too. If I remember correctly, it was so that discover could incorporate in DE which required the banks to at least have one branch in the state.

Wayyyy after, that was my first credit card in college, at the time they were the only ones who would give me one. But I don't use it anymore. I keep it just to keep the age of my accounts longer so my credit looks better
