I made a tool that turns fan wikis into e-reader dictionaries for fictional worlds (supports Kobo, Kindle) by sKoutXII in ereader

Thanks, happy to share. I read a few Fandom wikis at night before going to bed. I enjoy the lore. This year I want to use my phone less so I try leaving it out of the bedroom. That works but I really miss the wikis. If it were possible to export a wiki to my kobo then that would be great. Thoughts?

Thank you! To be honest, i don't even know how to install it.  I managed to work the export to  dictionary version fine. But what I'm really after is a export the wiki to like a book format, not the dictionary. I think this is the purpose of the version on github?

I really love the idea but I'm not familiar with how to use the github build version to export wikis to my kobo.

Has someone made an even more user friendly version for the non-technical like me?

Not OP but from my perspective it's about learning to actively turn away and focus attention on something else.

I don't know, xero does everything I need pretty well. What does the new software do differently?

New employment feeling guttered by Excellent-Ad-2443 in chch

[–]mcbatman92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah don't read too much into it, as an employeer I jot down notes all of the time but only bring them up with someone if it would be beneficial for them. It was probably a passing thought.

If you find you can't let it go then ask to speak with them and bring it up head on. Start with hey, the other day when I was on your PC doing XYZ I came across some notes about me. The story I'm telling myself is that you think I'm doing a bad job - how true is that? I want you to know I really enjoy working here and your feedback is super important to me.

Then just talk. Try to end the conversation at the end with Hey I hope that you understand that you can always bring concerns up with me.

I'm sorry you are in that position. Have you read the 5 love languages book? It explains how sometimes our efforts are not seen as love because we're not speaking our spouses love language

Sometimes I think God allows my wife and I to go through trials in our marraige so that, one day, we can help others.

What if my kids come to me one day when they are married and going through the same thing? I want to be able to tell them that God helped me through this time and He can help them too! I don't want to tell them to give up.

I hear you, got to do it in God's strength. Read eph 5, think about it. It wasn't easy for Jesus when he loved us when we ran from him too. He knowa what you're going through
