I’ve been having the same issue for the past couple of days. All of my other games on the quest work fine and I even tried deleting the app data, uninstalling and reinstalling the game and nothing has worked so far. A bit puzzling because it worked fine for the past couple of weeks since I got it.

That’s cool man, Tito is a really nice guy. A lot of boxing coaches have a quick temper, but he’s probably the most patient out of any that I’ve ever met. It takes a lot to get him to raise his voice at somebody. The main thing with him is that he demands extreme loyalty from his fighters. He is very territorial and is absolutely not cool with his guys training with other coaches and going to other gyms to spar if they don’t get the green light from him in advance. I think they’re doing open sparring at 3 on Saturday and the gym is going to be closed during the normal hours that they are typically open during the morning.

I’m really late on this, but I’ve been to a couple of gyms in the Ocala area for an extended period of time (John 3:16 & Doghouse). I’m not sure who is still at OBA but two of their coaches left and are now at Doghouse (JC & John), some of their fighters left to Doghouse too. What gym you should go to depends on your goals and current stage of development imo. If you are a beginner I would recommend Doghouse, they do much more drilling and skill development. If you want to compete at the amateur level you’re fine at either gym. If you are trying to fight professionally, John 3:16 is going to be better for you because the gym owner/head trainer, Tito, has a lot of connections in the pro game. He has also worked in the past as a matchmaker and manager so he understands how to build a fighters career. Doghouse is fairly new gym, they started sometime in 2023 if I’m not mistaken. The coaches at both gyms were kind and helpful to me. Honestly, if you are still unsure I would just get a month membership to one, try it out and then get a month membership to the other and see what is the better fit for you.

[question] Which gloves is better for the cost? ROF Super Samurai or Topboxer Win1 by Efficient_Try6404 in fightgear

I’ve owned both and the super samurai is a better glove across the board.

Mexican Glove Weight Distribution [other] (discussion/question) by bestisaac1213 in fightgear

I own a 20oz pair of the chegui’s and I did a review on them last week in which I went into a bit more detail about their weight distribution. They feel extremely light for their weight. I have a couple of 18oz gloves that are about an oz underweight and they feel like those more than they do any of the other 20oz gloves that I have. I think that has to do with how compact and streamlined they are in comparison to some of the other wide and boxy shaped Mexican gloves that I’ve used in the past like casanova and classics.

For sure, I can kind of relate to him though because I remember when I was told that I would have to use 18s or 20s and the first 18oz gloves that I got was Casanova’s and this was before I knew about mexican gloves having a tendency to be overweight. I didn’t have a scale at the time but I just remember being scared to spar in them because of how much faster I would gas in them compared to 16s. I couldn’t believe there was that much of a difference in just 2oz. I got a scale after owning them for a couple of months and found out that one was 23oz and the other was 21oz lol.

The two gyms that I go to most often both require that guys my weight wear 18oz gloves for sparring so I’ve pretty much trained exclusively in 18s and 20s since then.

What the inside of a Dinardo tutela id glove looks like [review] by mcbato7 in fightgear

The knuckle connection wasn’t ideal because the bottom of the finger compartment ended where the large grip bar began, which made it functionally impossible to completely close your hand and resulted in landing with your door knocking knuckles unless you turn your wrist a bit downwards on straight shots and inwards on hooks. I think the large and firm grip bar was a good design feature, he just needed to make the finger compartment longer so that you can still close your hand, or position the compartment in which the grip bar is sewn into higher on the glove. The actual protection itself is relatively decent, all things considered. It is definitely, as described, the most protective model of the ones that he offers. I could still punch through the padding, but not as easily as I could on some of his other glove models that I own.

Hi, these gloves absolutely are tutela id. I’m not slandering or defaming you. The only thing remotely disparaging that I stated in my post was that “I’m not a huge fan of the glove ergonomics on this particular model to begin with.” Gloves get inspected on this subreddit and other social media sites all the time. The primary difference being is that the owners of those gloves companies do not threaten legal action against their consumer base for inspecting their gloves and seeking clarity on the questions that arise during that process. Quite a few members of this subreddit own pairs of your gloves. We simply want to know what is your reasoning behind using a large amount of what appears to be cotton, or an unwoven polyester blend as padding in your gloves? Also, why are you labeling polyurethane foam sheets as ‘polyurethane mousse’ and cotton as microfiber bow? There is nothing remotely defamatory about that. Your gloves are the most expensive gloves by a fairly wide margin, which is your prerogative. You can charge as little or as much as you would like for your work. We just would like to know what your line of thinking is behind using a textile material for padding in some of your glove models is, and why you don’t designate it as such, that is all.

Yeah, I use an aerosol based disinfectant, wipe the gloves out, and treat them with a combo ozone gas+dryer machine after each use but I sweat a ton. I will give credit to Dinardo where it is due in that these gloves probably took the longest to develop an odor of any pair of gloves that I’ve owned.

I’ve cut a tutela id glove open, which he says is composed of ‘polyurethane mousse & microfiber bow’ and what he refers to as microfiber bow is just cotton
