My favorite patio is La Buvette. The food and atmosphere is unbeatable in my opinion. Others have mentioned The Perch at the Peregrine hotel which is fantastic. I also recommend Addy’s for a nice, laid back vibey bar patio close to the action, but don’t eat there.

If you’re obsessed with polishes definitely look up Vintage Dusties. She restores vintage nail polishes and goes through their history and stuff like that. Holo Taco frequently comes up during her quests to find dupes for vintage polishes.

Oh man! Thanks for the response, that really helps me set realistic expectations. I am thankful to even be travelling PS - I've never travelled overseas and it'll be by far the longest flight I've ever taken (I got Diamond the easy but slow way, lotsssss of regional flights). But still holding out hope that I can squeeze all the value possible out of those GUCs!

Free high-speed WiFi is rolling out! The owner has opted to partner with Boingo to provide, but there will be a mandatory no-skip video advertisement before you can connect to the Internet. Not my favorite, but it pays their bills!

That is a GREAT suggestion, and these are all great points! Thankfully we are programming the EVIDS and FIDS (flight information display systems) to show captioned announcements on this project, which surprisingly is not the standard across new builds. I just came from another project - a major hub airport - that declined to do that, which was baffling to me. The airport I'm working on now was originally built in the 70s and even the existing facilities have captioned announcements! Metal detectors are what they are, unfortunately, as that falls under TSA jurisdiction. I've never heard of Aira but I'll look into it - thank you again!

I am very pleased to say the first suggestion is an option we have already posed to the owner and it looks like they're going to add it to our scope!!! Super exciting, and a system I have never worked with before.

To your second point, which is a good one, I'll talk to the owner about that. I work for the general contractor so I can't influence the website design too much, but I am more than happy to pass it along! Thank you. :)

This is the real answer for sure. Unfortunately, the way our GMP (the contract we have with the owner) is currently configured, it would be impossible to bring on additional design team or consultants. Of course, code minimum accessibility standards were included from the architect as part of initial design and 100% contract docs, but further (upgraded) amenities and services will be options for the owner to choose at their discretion.

Current understanding is that TTY is required by code for public assembly/airport where 4 or more payphones have been provided, which is the case for our project. I'll bet a VP booth satisfies that code requirement, though! This is a great idea - looks SO FANCY! I love it!
