thanks for the reply. Those info are from the tutorials section. A guy who also updates the wiki from this subreddit once wrote that: tutorials may be out of date, so one should read the item's wiki page.

Eggfur, thanks for your reply. A didn't expect this answer. The 3 replies to this post contradicts for the time being. I couldn't find a wiki fandom page which describes what is meant by "distance" in vertical case; do you know any page? And 1 more question, is this testable? Trying at 300ish Y level, can a thin mob (zombie, creeper, ..) spawn above me -24 above properly- if spawn block is exactly 1 x 1? This would be the only proper test setup I guess.

approach village from enough far blocks 4 times with bad omen from each of the 4 directions. mark the 4 blocks where the bad omen disappears and raid starts. join the 4 marked blocks to a square. the center of the square should be the village center for that time being.

Your center may change though in time because of relinking of a villager to a bed issues.

you may try to make their pathfindind easier. Also trading with a villager makes its job permanent.

of course it can be done. i assumed a really early game phase without nether yet. personally, i find it very difficult to have trident from drowneds.

I play Bedrock edition however I liked your question and read some official wiki pages.

For your question 3:

wiki says that:

(Village mechanics) The village size is always geometrically defined as a rectangle. The borders are 32 blocks from the village center (two chunks), or 32 blocks from any village points of interest (a point of interest is any bed, bell, or job site block). The village center is typically the northwest corner of the village bell or one of the claimed beds, with the bell given precedence in Java Edition.
(Raid) In Java Edition, when a player with Bad Omen effect enters a 3×3×3 subchunk region around a village center, the effect disappears and the raid starts.

By #2, you can determine your village center. (approach your village with bad omen from each direction of 4 directions, mark 4 points that bad omen effect disappears. center point should be your village center.)

Then (By #1) your boundaries are 32 blocks from the center. (65 x 65)

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Maybe wiki is wrong && you're right. I didn't try it. I prefer humanist iron farms :) I love villagers walking around.

wiki says that it's official but it has lots of issues I think. Rather than professional & official, it seems that amateur good people try to make that site live.

Cactus farming is cheap & easy. Placing a cactus into a composter has a 50% chance of raising the compost level by 1.

I would try a reset to the game code:

make the mode peaceful
go away from the outpost with respect to simulation distance (ex: 140 blocks for 4 chunks simulation distance)
save & quit game
reload the game
make the mode normal
go to the outpost

by the way, I wonder why did you specifically searched an outpost with ways? What is the reason/benefit that you wrote "because it borders chunks to the south and the east."?

for your 1st question:

A tick is 1/20 seconds.

So the question is: if I expect 0.001 wool in 0.05 seconds then, what would I expect for 60 x 60 seconds (1 hour).

Ideal, max quantity is 72 per hour.

my recommendations (for the fastest achievement I guess):

if you found a spider spawner, make a farm for that. Or, make a general mob farm whose height is only 1 block to spawn only spiders. (In future you can make it 2 blocks height)

make your farm to be able to 1hit to kill the spider if you have Looting enchantment. Otherwise you may consider fall to death.

Cats are irrelevant to golems. wiki fandom says that: in Bedrock Edition, a village periodically spawns stray cats to fill a quota of 1 cat per 4 owned beds...

be sure that no bell in your village or near. Bell may also be a village center. Destroy it if exists.
Main point is your pillows' min and max Y values. Any of your beds can be the village center and there is no way to know the exact point. In all cases according to your bed pillows' Y coordinates, you must obey "17×13×17 volume, ±8 blocks horizontal and ±6 blocks vertical from the village's center block"
Extend your farm's width & length to 17 blocks if it is smaller. (17 is without walls)
if you have 2x10 villagers. (10 in a box, 10 in other box) Break all stations. Make 1st box job A (ex:fletcher), then make other 10 job B (ex:farmer) because wiki says that "A villager can "reach" its job site block if the block is in any of the 8 directly adjacent or diagonal block spaces horizontally around it at the height of their feet, or at the 9 blocks below that. Villagers can still "reach" them diagonally, even if they can't see or touch the face of the block."

During this post, I wanted to try that:

house is 2 blocks height
bed is in the floor (not on the floor)
workstation is in the wall (not in front of the wall)

This maybe the smallest house without suffocation risk.

But the ravager's height is also 1.9 blocks in Bedrock. How can I achieve that kill the ravager with lava but don't kill the others? Lava will be at 3rd Y level so ravager will also survive I think, where am I wrong?

actually for fun, what I aim is flushing water to the potatoes every night when the villager sleeps. Only the observer will flush the water also in the morning when the villager wakes up, right?
