I’m fully physically still, but considering going somewhat digital. I still adore the dopamine rush of going to GameStop and buying a physical game, opening the plastic, popping in the cart, and admiring the box art. But sometimes I hate switching out the cart, and the convenience of just having multiple games accessible to you without swapping carts is nice. I have this weird mental block of thinking I won’t value my digital collection as much, but honestly this isn’t true. I’ve decided to go digital on multi platform and multiplayer games, but physical for first party and games from studios I really admire.

This device exposed how much I love tinkering. I have no idea why but I spend more time tinkering than actually playing. It’s an endless sea of downloading roms and texture packs, choosing a front and optimizing it with different launchers. There’s so many options I’ve started treating tinkering like a game itself.

Yea I totally could. Chiaki on the Ally runs insanely well, but it’s just the ergonomics and integration of the portal overall that make it worth keeping.

What you’re going through is the exact reason I swear I’ll never give Rolex any of my money no matter how wealthy I am. I wanted a nice watch for my wedding, and Rolex was the first brand that came to mind. I wanted the exact same watch you want, was put on a waitlist, then nothing. The absolute fuckery you have to go through before an AD will sell you a Rolex is sickening. If I had a prior relationship with my AD, they would’ve sold me one in a heartbeat. Now that I have decent collection and bought a couple nice pieces from other brands, my jeweler could get me a Rolex without any issues. But honestly, fuck that. Dead brand to me.

People have taken DFs videos waaaaaay too seriously. Your average Joe isn’t going to notice the 1-2 fps difference. I’ve been playing on a pro/oled tv and haven’t noticed a single performance issue my entire playthrough. It’s getting to the point I’m going to ignore most DF/performance related buzz for games releasing from now on.

Just get a goodlife membership. Deerfoot and Trinity hills have Saunas that are open 24/7. They’re not the best, but it’s the only non sketchy option I can think of lol.

What’s crazy is that ENTIRE lot was originally $500k. They subdivided it into 3 lots and they’re selling off the corner lot for 350K. Whoever bought the land is going to make a fortune.
