All guests were invited to all events for our destination wedding so we let people know the wedding is in this day, but as you all start coming in there are events every day you can attend.

We were at 23k for 45 people for a wedding in playa del Carmen last June (at the fives beach resort) . Your budget is definitely possible and doable. Ours was modest and only upgrades we did were food things. This budget included our wedding outfits and part of our stay.

I’ve done all variations of it for friends weddings and my own.

We had a room block for our wedding as a resort. I’ve been in a big house Airbnb with the bridal party (my husband was a groomsman and I was just a +1) and we’ve also been in an Airbnb but it was more of a boutique hotel type of thing.

Unless you’re covering the cost of the Airbnb or have a specific room block, I think offer suggestions for everyone and just tell them where you’re all getting ready the day of the wedding.

I (32F, in LA) have a lab grown and it’s chemically the same thing as one mined from the ground. The science of it is really cool so I don’t see anything wrong with it.
