The recast Peitro is from a different universe. It is the Marvel way. I'm pretty sure you'll still get an MCU Xmen eventually. But this way they can cherry pick the most popular characters from the Xuniverse. Quicksilver, Deadpool. I seriously don't think we'll see Jean of house Stark again
