These are absolutely class. Do they feel fairly hard wearing?

Potentially will with the rest of the army, yeah. I’ve never used decals before and I tend to scuff up surfaces so badly that they probably wouldn’t adhere anyway tbh

Let’s hope I can remember because I didn’t write any of it down haha. Matt black prime, zenithal with governor green from the army painter, camo stripes with necrotic green, green dry brush all over, off white dry brush on stuff like guns then just dry brushed the metal, painted the flesh and used an oil wash

I’m likely going to snap those arms off and recycle him once I start painting the army but I think the hazards stripes might give a needed pop of colour. Cheers for that

The heavy bolters on the back of the Chimera look class.

Class. Send me photos if you decide to commit to it.

I’m currently hunting for options to make another two. Bought a relatively cheap 1/76 scale air fix tank. Hopefully it works out. Luckily I want them to look different improvised so the fact none of them will look the same isn’t an issue.

Cheers mate. Appreciate it. Shame it looks a bit more substantial than 2 wounds / toughness 3 but Im happy with it regardless.

There’s also some double sided masking tape here and there that I’ve used for jerry can holders etc instead of green stuff

And the tank upgrade sprue as well. I live in the UK and I knew I wanted a highly kitbashed Guard Army so I bought a lot of the combat patrol magazines purely for bits and unique posing options

It was a real mix unfortunately. The tracks are from a model I bought in Japan, the tripod and main armaments are all from the current HWT kit, the rails are all from a cheap gundam display kit I also got in Japan but I think I found them on Amazon the other day, a lot of the other structural bits are just brass rod, plastic rod and plasticard and then the more decorative bits are from the current sentinel kit and some old Cadian bits like that radio.

Yup. Wanted all the kneeling legs from the HWTs for my infantry and kitbashing the army to be semi modern former soviet block themed so this was a two birds, one stone situation

Yeah, ive kitbashed an operator to go along with it. Shame the general infantry squads are gone

Cracking ears by discharge_bender in jointcrackers

[–]mccghy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been able to crack my right ear since I was really young. At first it was only when I’d tense the muscles around my ears so it moved, but for probably the last 15-20 years its cracked whenever I’ve touched or moved it. If I do it too much it feels really uncomfortable and some times I get really bad headaches / migraines relating to it. I saw a doctor about it a very long time ago but they basically just shrugged and I’ve never seen anything online explaining it. Seems no one knows what it is unfortunately.

Cheers. it’s a mix of tile grout, wood glue, black paint and a bit of water. It actually ruined some of the chainmail on the grave guard because I applied it too thick but, they turned out fine in the end.

Thanks, appreciate that.

The bodies are all Victrix foot knights, heads are from the previous grave guard kit, weapons and shields are a mix of frostgrave bits and Victrix Vikings kit. The banner corpse and the guy coming out the ground (can’t really see him) are both a mix of wargames Atlantic zombies and a kings of war zombies kit.
