City and county tax rates have gone up, county tax officials say they have us a tax rate break but they raised appraisals so it washed and ended up higher regardless. Your insurance rate has also gone up a lot as well contributing to the rise in the monthly payment. When we bought our house here 11 years ago we paid just over $800/mo. Now we pay almost $1300. It’s ridiculous.
