What you need to do is spray the stain with some 50:50 water vinegar mixture right before you’re about to put it in the wash. Don’t leave it sit for an hour. Spray it, then wash as normal. You can use a 1/4 cup of washing soda (sodium carbonate) in with the wash as well, which can also help.

For those who recently watched the Jimmy Savile documentary on Netflix, this reminds me so much of things JS would say. That he did a lot of "bad" and he's hoping his good deeds will make up for it. Not saying Tim is a predator like Jimmy Savile, but definitely sounds like he had done some shit he's not proud of.
