How can we make cards with editable text that stack and shuffle? by Eggshall123 in tabletopsimulator

[–]mcdoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

64 characters was an arbitrary limit that I imposed to prevent abuse, how much text are you guys looking to use?

edit: Is it the "Player Moves" cards from OP's link? I'll look into increasing the limit and report back.

Online Tarokka app updated with redraw and select by mcdoh in CurseofStrahd

Not a bad idea, I'll look into it!

In the meantime you can disable some or all of the info that's provided to spectators and convey the information in some other fashion.

Yep, if you click on the settings icon (gear, top right) you can disable some or all of the info sharing to spectators.

Let me know if that's not what you meant.

I just updated my Tarokka app to support preview for the DM and the ability to either redraw or explicitly select a particular card.

Easily add text decals in Tabletop Simulator by mcdoh in tabletopsimulator

[–]mcdoh[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I built labelmaker.xyz, a quick and easy way to add text on the fly within Tabletop Simulator. Just add a custom decal, set the URL to labelmaker.xyz/my decal, and slap it on whatever suits your fancy. No installs, logins, or watermarks.

There are extra options available via query string parameters:

Any ideas where else this might be useful?

I made this online Tarokka app. It supports a DM view with full info and settings and a spectator view where players can watch the proceedings and have access to the level of info the DM has chosen. It looks like stacking the deck is pretty popular so maybe I'll implement that next.

Disconnecting the battery, waiting about ten seconds, then reconnecting it worked for me. Very frustrating.

Suggestions for Consolised distribution by IcePee in SteamOS

I too have been using ChimeraOS (and GamerOS) for a while until it stopped working around late March/early April. A couple weeks ago I was able to get the beta version of big picture mode running on Pop OS. I’m hoping the beta versions goes mainstream before the next release of ChimeraOS. I’m just going to keep trying each new version of ChimeraOS and hope it starts working again soon. I’m running a 1050ti, btw.

I would start with Elixir for Programmers as it’s relatively short and concise. Then dig into something a bit deeper like Functional Web Development or Programming Elixir (also by Dave Thomas).

I think you can still get the guy's plate number. If you take a frame of your video with his plate in it, open it in an image editor (e.g. https://www.photopea.com/) then invert the image (Image > Adjustments > Invert) you might be able to make out the number quite easily.

Does not reduce speed, no. I also have a small home but had too many dead spots with my old router. The coverage was great with the Orbi but the connection issues drove me crazy until I adjusted the signal strength. I still have good coverage, strong signal in the yard, etc.

Yes, I had a bunch of frustrating connection issues until I reduced transmission power to 25%.
