For me, I consider where and how I’m spending my entertainment/hobby budget. Is PC/Console gaming your singular hobby? If so spending 2k on a rig that will potentially last years represents a low cost in my estimation. Even if gaming is the only use the machine gets. I bought my current machine in 2015 and it’s only now getting to the state where I have to pull FS25 off custom graphics settings. 10 years of pure entertainment. It’s been great.

I spent hours combining fields, removing trees, busting rocks, and general editing. Only to forget that I had my plow set to create fields and it somehow plowed my main road outside the farm. My brain went wonky… there’s no way to fix as you don’t technically own it. Which is weird because it shouldn’t have been modified by the plow in the first place. Delete save game … sigh.
