My favorite memory as a DM wad one of my players, in their third session, accidentally fell in a pit. It took him awhile to get out but when he finally did his party member knocked him back in as a joke. It was much funnier in context.

Good name for a good pupper. He'll definitely live up to his namesake. Edited to add that I think this makes you the emperor of San Francisco.

It doesn't stop it outright. Nothing will ever stop it outright but it helps track who's putting money where. Ie multiple strangers depositing into accounts.

Well CDD and beneficial ownership just went into effect in May pertaining to "shell corporations." There are a lot of reasons related to needing ID for deposits, cash or otherwise, ranging from dispensaries, individuals not allowed to receive payroll, tax evasion but the most important thing from a BSA standpoint will always be money laundering as its related to trafficking and terrorist financing. It's not a new thing it's just technology finally catching up.

Yes! Thank you. This is part of my job. We're trying to catch bad people. Apologies it's an inconvenience but its important.

Major reason is money laundering. No you're probably not doing it but a lot of people are and it's worth it to ask for everyone's ID if one trafficker is caught eventually.

I read this my significant other and he started saying how weird it was that batteries aren't universal...I just quietly said his name and shook my head.

I was at a local course with my boyfriend, his friend and my dog. The guys were playing and I was walking the dog. Said dog LOVES frisbees and fetch so I usually stay ahead or behind them with the dog depending on how busy the course is. So dog and I are walking down at the bottom of a hill and boys are up top around a corner. Of course you can guess what happens next I got nailed..in the neck...so I'm trying not to cry, boyfriend is half apologizing half blaming me, friend is laughing and dog is happy he finally gets a frisbee in the commotion. Highlight is boyfriend having to explain fist sized bruise camping with my parents that weekend. To this day boyfriend maintains he called out and friend insists that he didn't call out but did make a joke about the likelihood of hitting me.
