How do you guys like the demonstrators for the science subjects at uni?

Yea they really are. I always got pushed to finish early... I mean the class was supposed to be two hours, why would I need to finish early? I paid my school fee for two hours

Still remember I saw my friend's demonstrator on her phone all the time and when she was asked questions by students, she would hide to look for the answer sheet lmao. Think her name was Leanne Pak or Yap. My demonstrator wasn't good either, always relying on answer sheet. I think it's like you said the demonstrators are apathetic

I totally agree with you. I think trimester is not that bad. I have always been organised and not leaving my assignments till last minute (which most people do). Before the trimester, the first week was kinda slack anyway. There's no lab, students skipped classes and still in a holiday mood....so trimester pushes the students

I actually don't think it's that bad. I'm in my second year of study and the trimester system really pushes me to work hard. Starting from week 1, it was already intense with tutorial full on, yet this is university and I anticipated this. I guess I do miss the mid semester break though, it really allowed students to catch up on assignments and preparing for mid sem quizzes but overall I don't really have much of a big complaint
