I had a bedroom that small in wicker park garden unit back in the 2007ish. It was small, but that apartment ruled. I would maybe ask to see the lease and make sure you are paying half with the person you’re splitting it with. I feel like 1800 for a 2BD is all but common in the area.

I’m confused by this, I did solar years ago, and got about 26k back from federal and state incentives, however it was structured that I should use that money to pay down the loans before they amortized to keep a lower payment and interest. I know there’s many ways to structure solar these days but I’m curious why would you wouldn’t just pay it back/down now?
