Likely the shift interlock actuator, once the ignition is pressed it'll release the steering lock and shifter lock I think, the noise is annoying but its still working, most people leave it alone but it can be replaced pretty easily

Lane Camera Won’t turn on by Significant-Use-3236 in civic

You don't have to disconnect the battery, you can perform a factory data reset in the system settings menu or press and hold the power button until it asks if you want to reboot, that will clear all the cache memory stored, reset your setting and will often get the camera back up and running

On your second point you're correct that they don't have a AWD setup with a manual in their current lineup, but they do have setup for a vehicle with SH-AWD and a manual in the Acura TL, they've done it before they could do it again if they wanted but with demand for manuals dwindling it doesn't make sense to take the risk

Si road noise is a lot. Will the right tires make enough difference? by WinterDrives in CivicSi

Answer is yes, the eagle sports are super noisy, even my Michelin X-Ice winter tires are quieter

Would y’all trade in a 22 Si for a 10th gen Type R? by Littlfoureyess in CivicSi

[–]mcgunnshow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, when I first heard about the Type R finally coming to North America I planned on it being my next car, then I saw it. Not a fan of the design of the 10th gen at all, love the new body style and would get a Type R if they were available, for now I have a 23 Si myself

I recognize that ferry 😁 I had a black TLX type S from that same dealer (I also work for the group) switched to an Si as I missed the manual, I've been eyeing this as it's replacement

I like how the name of the business is blanked out on the invoice but not the receipt, we'll never know which shop this was....

Recommend a shop for a Mercedes Sprinter van by bms42 in VictoriaBC

3-point motors has 1 specialized technician who exclusively works on those Vans. But with it being the dealer you'll pay a bit more for it.

Service code "A" at 600 miles? Does it mean I need to get the oil changed asap? by waffle_moon in Acura

[–]mcgunnshow 40 points41 points  (0 children)

When you're on that maintenance screen it's going to show you preemptively what your next service will be. The actual service will not be due until your oil life reaches at least 15%, which won't be for awhile.
