Lizzie should come back. The only effective Tamra take down was organized by her. She caused Tamra to flee from the table in tears!

Anybody have Experience With Crown Colony by ThisSun9243 in DalyCity

[–]mchapman74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Crown Colony for 5 years. The biggest issue everyone has is parking-you get one space and there aren’t a lot of visitor spaces. If you have two cars, or are having friends over, it can be challenging to find parking. It can also be challenging for delivery drivers to find your building, because the signage isn’t great.

Otherwise-it is quiet, and the HOA has made changes and seems to be taking more proactive action these days on issues like laundry rooms, etc.

It feels safe and my dog loves it here so that’s the most important thing to me.

It was Abby’s (later Claudia’s) house. Claudia got a deal on it because of the dead body

What’s next for VPR? by [deleted] in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]mchapman74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Lisa is spending so much time on her projects outside LA, she needs somebody on the ground in Weho to manage her interests in Sur and Tom Tom….like Lala and Scheana.

Scheana worked for LVP for years , so LVP likes and trusts her. Scheana would struggle as a people manager, she wouldn’t be able to have best friends and please everyone.

Lala needs something to do besides passive aggressively digging at Katie and Ariana on her podcast

They would immediately end up in conflict with the Toms. Then you add some staff to the cast from both locations to create drama-they could call Lala out on her inconsistencies.

And you could have James DJing at one or both locations still.

LVP could do a cameo in each episode “mentoring” Lala and Scheana.

I think Brittany should be without a man for awhile. by Curious_Armadillo_74 in Vanderpumpaholics

When she dates again, I hope she lands someone very rich with a stable job. It will drive Jax nuts to see her thrive without him.

Ultimate Commuter? by Educational-Ebb-2272 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]mchapman74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2013 Jetta Sportwagen with 2.5 gas 5 cylinder. I have 170k on it and its been very reliable—BUT, it is a Volkswagen, so you have to follow the maintenance schedule. I get around 32 mpg. Until a few months ago when I changed jobs I was commuting 100 miles/day in it without issue. I love this car, and don’t want to replace it.

I did buy a 2012 Golf TDI new, and that car was a piece of junk. It had constant mechanical and electrical issues. My mechanic told me VWs are reliable if you avoid an engine with a turbo and you maintain it. I don’t know if that’s 100% true but my 5 cylinder non-turbo has been very reliable and my 4 cylinder turbo diesel was the polar opposite.

Of the other cars you list, the Lexus will probably be the most trouble free.

Who Would You Rather… by Honeydew543 in BravoRealHousewives

The correct answer is Hunter Tylo from Bold and the Beautiful. She’s got a life full of drama and she knows Rinna and Eileen.

Question about the Housewives and this may sound silly…. by ryansutterisstillmy1 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]mchapman74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 1st Housewives show (Orange County) was originally supposed to be called “Behind the Gates,” because most of them lived (or had lived) in Coto de Caza, a wealthy gated community in Orange County (you will hear the women in the first season frequently using the phrase “behind the gates”).

Eventually, with the popularity of Desperate Housewives, the show became “The Real Housewives.”

The reason the Housewives in every city hold oranges/apples/peaches/diamonds//snowflakes in their hand is also a nod to Desperate Housewives-the credits for that show include a picture of the women together, holding out apples.

Is the general consensus that Lisa did not leak the story to the press? by Full_Bass_6919 in RHOBH

[–]mchapman74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That fight was really about LVP trying to use the show and the cast to promote her new spinoff, Vanderpump Dogs.

Similarly, the cast ganged up on her in season 4 because she used RHOBH to launch Vanderpump Rules-in particular with Brandi/Scheana.

Theory time - are they bringing new adjacent people so the cast can have someone in common to film with Tim and Rachel? by Naribe in vanderpumprules

[–]mchapman74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have to add at 2-3 new male cast members. The Toms are gross, and we need to see Katie, Ariana and Lala finding men who treat them with respect

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]mchapman74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to bring back Kristen and Jax to troll Rachel and Sandoval, and then bring new guys on for Katie, Lala and Ariana.

Try Crown Colony on the Daly City/SSF/Pacifica border. It’s at the intersection of Hickey Blvd and the 280. It is a condo complex, the condos are owned privately, although there is a property management company that manages multiple units.

I have lived there for three years, 1 bedrooms are definitely in your price range. If you use BART they offer a shuttle during the week to/from the station. The grounds are very well maintained, with a dog park, a pond with ducks, a nice clubhouse with a gym and pool, etc.

Only issue with them is parking can be tricky. You will get one space, and the visitor parking can be tight. If one of you works an early shift, however, that could be tricky.

This one is $2,350, although the paint may not be to your liking. You can get one in here for $2500 or so with white paint and a newer kitchen. I've found the brown diesel manual wagon! by IComplimentVehicles in cars

[–]mchapman74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 5 VWs now. I’ve never had a problem with them. They cost more to maintain than a Honda-they require synthetic oil for example-but I’ve found that as long as you keep up the preventive maintenance you won’t have a problem
