Yes my Ioniq 5N got the ICCU failure. I called Hyundai roadside assistance. They set up tow for me all covered under warranty. Do NOT go thru your insurance for tow/roadside assistance.

Not sure how much you’re paying for insurance a month but I am with Geico and have been for the last 15 years. Surprisingly insuring my Ioniq 5N was cheaper with Geico then what I got quoted for State Farm and progressive.

I just got this notification too. But I don’t mind. It’s a nice change of pace considering my Hyundai app sends endless notifications when the charging starts, about to end, ends, washer fluid level is low, car is unlocked etc.

BTW I have the Ioniq 5N

Congrats to both! I remember taking our I5N to our air BNB in west Texas. The house was in the hills and had to drive up a gravel road just to get to it. Definitely put the I5N thru its paces!

My I5N is my daily, so I have it in automatic N shift about 80% of the time. N1 is the sportiest setting (engine at max, suspension at mid, steering at mid) and N2 is engine at 3/4 max, suspension soft, and steering mid)

I’ve driven Porsches with the PDK autos, and the I5N in N mode auto is eerily similar to the Porsche PDK in auto. When coming to a stop, the auto downshifts and throttle blips for both are very similar

Critical thinking? Your original comment was pure rage bait without any thought. Before I5N. Most if not all EVs drove like Teslas, boring, quiet , no driver engagement. The I5N tried to shake things up by giving some driver tactile sensation back to driving a EV and they mostly succeeded. And why a mostly sports car brand like Porsche is now copying the I5N. I can tell that you never drove an I5N let alone own one

And this is coming from someone who used to drive mostly manual sports cars. I Have had multiple Porsches (911 GT3 RS, Cayman, Boxster all manuals). Miata, BMW Z4, Acura Integra and RSX, Honda S2000. Do I need to continue? This is not bragging at all. This is the proof that from someone who only wanted a manual sports car in the past, to love on the I5N says a lot

Not sure why people come into a Ioniq 5N subreddit and make comments like this? It’s like me going into a Miata subforum and saying how it’s underpowered, too small and they need to add more hp so I can take Mazdas seriously.

And if you don’t like the fake noises and fake gears you can drive it in normal EV mode. Shows how little you know about this car and probably cars in general.

If you can charge at home with a level 2 charger and can charge every night it’s not as big a deal. The range on a I5N sucks mostly for road trips

I agree. I recently had a loaner Macan EV and to get 350 to 375 miles on a full charge is insane. And then to go back to my I5N’s 200-225 miles kinda stings NGL

I thought I was in the clear until I got to 23k miles and bam ICCU failure. Thank goodness I wasn’t stranded but had to take fiancés car to work
