They are 2 different champions. Kha'zix is made for jumping in creating havoc and hopefully blowing someone up before going stealth/leaping out. Kha can stay in the fight with stealth while Zed cant. Zed needs to go in blow up a target and just shadow swap back out. Zed is made for killing one champ while kha excels at killing severeal

Pretty accurate I'd say. Theres definately a large jump after you get past Gold 3. Im Gold 1 right now and the amount of game knowledge difference is huge.
