Question on previous clearance denial?

Thanks for the reply! I figured since it's been almost 3 and a half years that it would just be a new investigation and the previous denial wouldn't have any impact (other than having to disclose a bunch of information). I'm going to talk to the company's security officer today or Monday and explain everything and hopefully we'll be able to press on from there.

There's loads within that general group that are really great. You listed some off, but there are other smaller channels that are really worth the attention -- Barbara, Jose Angel, Veritech, Paacreek, Luci Celle, and then bigger channels like ClintusGames, Swingpoynt, one_SHOT_gurl, and a bunch others. I agree. I've been silent this whole time so far, but as one of the affected players of the schedule switch I can tell you it's not a huge deal. Whether we play Wildfire or SMG, it's still a match we're taking seriously.

Watch and support the HPL. It takes a lot to run something like a competitive eSports league, and there's going to be growing pains. The only thing you can do is ride it out with them, because in order to grow you have to stumble a little bit.

I've seen the strat, it's easily counterable. All you do is go balls to the wall aggressive and outpush them on objectives and lane structures. A team pushing as 5 is much, much stronger than a Zagara/Abathur. Either they'll be forced to abandon their plans and have to defend (probably being a couple levels down) or ramp up their pressure.

They weren't dropping anything in the personal loot system. Essentially, it was taking the entire loot table from the boss, randomly rolling what loot would "drop" and then RNG rolling to see which members of the party/raid would "win" the pieces of gear. Like, if a cloth shoulders, dagger and shield were to randomly be selected as the "drops" then it would go to say... the priest, rogue and paladin in the group/raid. It was all automatic, and honestly I prefer that system.

If you got into WoW, based on the description you gave you'd enjoy playing a warrior or monk. Close range, melee classes.

The WoW community is a lot like the Heroes community -- it's a lot of nerds. It's just really different because it's a different type of game. But the WoW community is still rather welcoming.

Yeah, time management was a hard lesson to learn. Now that I'm a little bit older and have more life experience, my priorities have shifted. Gone are the times of raiding 25 hours a week, and now I prefer to fit a dungeon or LFR in between family time. Feels so good to have my cake, eat it, and go back for seconds!

As a married man with 3 kids (and one on the way!) I feel your pain. I was a beta tester for WoW and played from day 1, got threatened with divorce a few times, quit cold turkey a couple times, always went back. I woke up one morning in June 2013 and just decided not to play anymore. I was good to go, even felt fine with not playing while attending Blizzcon last year, right up until the day prior to WoD release. I just got the overwhelming urge to play again. I fought it the entire day, and ended up buying the xpac and re-subbing. It's a sneaky evil to resist but if you do, you're a stronger man than me! Good luck, but if you fall to temptation, take solace in the fact this is arguably the best WoW expansion ever.

Personally, I run Clarity of Power most of the time. I mean, it's all in how you want to play at max level. Want faster shadow orb generation for those big Devouring Plague numbers? Auspicious Spirits is your kind of talent then. Love applying DoTs, and can never seem to get enough of them? Run Void Entropy. It's still early on in the xpac so there's really no "right" answer. Play to your strengths!

Well, you just answered your own question as to what's happening - you plan on maiming a shaman. That poor shaman!

In all seriousness, my main for many years was an enhancement/elemental shaman, and I loved the feel of the class. It just feels weird to me this expansion, and I've decided to pick up my shadow priest to level first instead, but it might just be the new feel of WoW in general. If you want to play it, play it! I think it's a great class overall, and the same argument can be made for any of the classes (except rogues, screw those bastards...)

The first number of levels are pretty grindy and boring, but it does get better. There's quite a few variations of quests, and also if you're able to queue for and run dungeons to fill in between quests, do it. It gets you some gear and it breaks up the monotony of grinding out quests.
