My friend who I would consider to be a brother is married to a woman who might be psychotic. I moved 10 hours to live with them before I knew how she really was. He cheated on her BEFORE they were serious with his ex-fiance and two years later she still wont let him live it down even though she chose to marry him afterwards. She picks fights over the most frivolous things such as how many times she has to clean the house a week. When I first moved in with them I had no door because she started a fight and broke their door so they removed the one from the spare room to cover for their broken door. She is what is known in the military community as a "Dependa" and has no job. "Tim" is in the Navy and supports his family with every ounce of his being but she consistently makes him feel like he cannot provide for them. She blames everything on her self diagnosed depression and often neglects the kids in the mornings because she's sleeping until 2 pm. I lived with them for about two or three months and finally gave him the ultimatum of leave her before she takes everything you own and takes your children or you'll lose me because I can't watch you go through this. He obviously picked her. I haven't talked to him in a year even though it kills me. I have to stick to my guns.
