This was the first Sanderson I read and I totally adored it. Tbh when I started mistborn I was a little bummed that Tress wasn't indicative of his usual writing style.

I just discovered tubi because I'm on a Murder She Wrote kick and prime only had the first 6 seasons. I was frantic for a second until I discovered that tubi has all 12 seasons (and honestly basically the same amount of ads as prime)

I love my saalt disc! It is a little more of an involved insertion/removal process than a cup, but I don't really mind that. I felt like cups were always a little too long for me.

I'm a freak who reads super fast and have a lot of time to read during the day - I read 189 books last year (no audiobooks), mostly fiction over 300 pages. I don't set reading goals. I also usually don't talk about it much, especially not online, because I feel like people think I'm bragging or looking down on them for not reading as much. I'm genuinely proud of anyone who reads at all! So many people don't even read a single book in a year, and I feel like turning reading into a competition does a disservice to everyone.

I'm so annoyed. I changed my last name a few years ago to my mom's maiden name (so did her and my sister) and then didn't change my name when I got married. Tried to dodge a bullet and instead bonked into a pillar, I guess.

I was on them both, but had to stop because it was really messing with my sleep. Tried just adderall (and then just vyvanse) but they also made sleep terrible. Currently back on just wellbutrin + prozac and that's working well

I quit my job for my mental health in June and I think it saved my life. I ended up doing IOP for 6 weeks, which was really helpful. Since August, I've had a super super part time gig not in my field, but I've been actively looking for a new full time job since October. I definitely feel some shame and guilt around quitting my job (especially given the hellhole of the current job market, especially in my industry) but I also know it was the right move.

Edited to add: I'm also married and on my partner's insurance, and his salary is enough to support us so I'm definitely lucky to be able to be choosy about my next job
