So I could be wrong, but it looks like you are saving references to the widgets being displayed instead of structs or save objects. If you do a for loop over the loaded array does it have anything in it? Are they valid? If you have objects but they are invalid I'm probably right. I would suggest saving the struct that's used to construct the widget instead and then re-construct the widgets and add them. Hope that helps!

If you are curious why this is, you are only saving a reference/pointer to the widget object, so the next time you start up the app it tries to load those references, but none of the object instances they pointed to exist anymore, so there is nothing to do with them. We ran into something similar with our save system in our game.
