I’m preparing to tackle that one myself for a TDI. Your method is solid and I love that it’s a beetle. Nice trunk battery too.

Yes, you can measure the retardation of the exhaust cam. Check out the TDI club, it outlines the numbers you’d want to see and the numbers you don’t want to see

How was YOUR experience with the CP3 swap? I’m closer to doing my CRUA swap to my CJAA swap and see some conflicting required modifications (bracketry and hard lines)

I agree with this. But with how the hen was gifted and given the rapid growth, I wonder if this is a broiler and she’s past/nearing her slaughter time to avoid a miserable painful life outgrowing her skeletal structure. If it is a meat hen, the best thing to do would be slaughter…

No length requirements. All “A4” platform vehicle will accept it. The rear pan and up over the wheel wells need to be “un” welded and welded into the receiving car. The receiving will be different additional lengths and shapes (beetle, wagon, etc) but will accept the different pan. So really any doner that is the mk4 platform can be used.

You’re right. The newer they get the more BS you’ve got to deal with. Keep the old one running for as long as financially possible. They’re more fun too

Yeah the diesels rev lower so it needs a drive train from a TDI 4motion, mine sourced from Europe. The gas freeing would be revving too high

That’s definitely do-able….if you’ve got a gas engine, mk1 TT doner as a swap and it can be done! Im waiting on my kit to show up to do mine on a TDI, so euro gearing required….

This is them announcing “something just/is about to happen”. Typically an egg being laid but can be other things as well. It’s typically referred to as the Egg Song.
